The Power of One

The Power of One follows PK, an English orphan growing up in a divided African country, who is shaped by bullying, loss, and the harsh realities of the system around him. Taken under the wing of Geel Piet, a wise and gentle prisoner, PK learns to box and adopts the guiding motto “fight with your fists and lead with your heart,” finding strength, discipline, and a moral compass that will carry him into adulthood.

As PK matures, he channels his skills and convictions into confronting injustice, refusing to accept the prejudice and violence that define his world. The film traces his journey from vulnerable child to determined young man who inspires others, showing how courage, compassion, and one person’s relentless belief in right can challenge entrenched oppression and spark change.
