Michalis Giannatos, also known as Michael Yannatos, was a highly talented Greek actor whose career spanned over five decades. Born on July 11, 1941, in Istanbul, Turkey, Giannatos later moved to Greece in 1964 during a period of mass expulsion of Istanbul Greeks.

Giannatos kickstarted his acting journey after studying at Konstantinos Demopoulos' school of drama. His professional debut came in 1966 in Georgios Zervoulakos' film "Oi stigmatismenoi" where he showcased his remarkable acting skills. Even while still a student, Giannatos impressed audiences with his performance in the theatrical play "Capetan Michalis" alongside the legendary Manos Katrakis.

Throughout his illustrious career, Giannatos graced the screens in nearly 100 films, television series, and theatrical productions.
