The Beekeeper
After celebrating his daughter's wedding, stone-faced beekeeper Spyros embarks on his customary pilgrimage from the rugged north of Greece to the sunbaked south, moving with the slow, methodical rhythm of his hives. The film follows this quiet, ritualistic journey through shifting landscapes and small towns, where weather, work and the hum of bees underscore a life built on routine and restraint.
Along the way he encounters an erratic young drifter whose impulsive presence fractures his carefully contained world, and the two form an unusual, self-destructive bond that draws out long-buried needs and tensions. Their fragile intimacy—part companionship, part collision—reveals themes of solitude, longing and the costs of attachment, rendering a haunting, melancholic portrait of two lives briefly intersecting against the backdrop of a changing countryside.
