In 1973 Jamaica a young boy's life is shattered when he witnesses his older brother gunned down in a burst of violence. Taken under the wing of a charismatic and feared Don, he is given shelter, purpose, and a new identity, taught to trade loyalty for survival in a world ruled by power and respect. The island's heat, music, and simmering tensions shape him, but the ache of loss never leaves.
A decade later he is sent to London to handle business for the man who raised him, thrust into a cold, unfamiliar city that hums with its own underground rhythms. As he moves between immigrant neighborhoods and violent underworld dealings, the distance from Jamaica only magnifies the past he carries. Old obligations and new temptations blur the lines between right and wrong, and every choice carries the risk of reigniting long-buried feuds.
Confrontation becomes inevitable when the shadows of his brother’s murder close in, forcing him to reckon with loyalty, vengeance, and the cost of survival. The film is an atmospheric journey through exile and identity, driven by raw performances, pulsing reggae-infused soundscapes, and a gritty collision of worlds. It’s a tense, emotionally charged portrait of a man pulled between where he came from and what he might become.
