Lips of Blood
When Frédéric comes across a photograph of a ruined seaside castle, a long-buried childhood memory unnerves him and sets him on a surreal pilgrimage. As he follows fragments of recollection across fog-laced coastlines and abandoned rooms, reality and dream begin to blur, and every familiar landmark feels charged with a faintly erotic menace. The film drifts between memory and desire, inviting viewers into a hauntingly poetic world where the past refuses to stay buried.
His journey is guided by four enigmatic female vampires whose beauty is as entrancing as it is dangerous, and whose loyalties remain tantalizingly ambiguous. Together they search for the castle and the mysterious woman who dwells within, a figure who might be salvation, obsession, or the key to Frédéric’s fragmented past. The result is an atmospheric, melancholic tale of longing and the uncanny, where lush visuals and slow-burning tension fuse into a hypnotic exploration of memory and fate.
