Boiling Point
Masaki is a modest baseball player who balances nights working at a gas station with a growing unease after crossing the local yakuza. When threats escalate, he travels to Okinawa to obtain a gun for protection, a decision that drags him deeper into a violent underworld. In Okinawa he encounters Uehara, a hardened gangster drowning in debt and nursing a quiet, simmering plan for revenge against the yakuza who betrayed him. Their uneasy alliance and clashing motives create a tense, character-driven drama where honor, survival, and retribution collide. Boiling Point builds its suspense through gritty encounters and moral compromises, painting a stark portrait of people trapped by circumstance and the choices that finally make them act.
