Walking with the Enemy
As Nazi control tightens over Hungary and the country’s leadership crumbles, Jews are herded into ghettos and deported to death camps with little hope of escape. In the midst of this horror, a young man named Elek is torn from his family during the relocations. Aided by the woman he loves, he dares a desperate plan: adopt the guise of a Nazi officer and walk right into the enemy’s ranks.
Disguised and driven by love and survival, Elek embarks on a high-stakes mission to rescue his family and thousands of his countrymen. The film follows his tense, suspenseful journey—fraught with danger, moral complexity, and sacrifice—as one man’s courage confronts a brutal regime, transforming despair into a daring act of resistance.
