Alice, Sweet Alice

Alice is a withdrawn twelve-year-old who lives in a tense household where her younger sister, Karen, soaks up their mother’s attention. When Karen is found brutally murdered in the church, suspicion swings toward Alice, whose quiet demeanor and simmering resentment make her an easy target for rumor and blame.
