With Honors
Monty, a fastidious Harvard senior convinced that his meticulously researched thesis will secure him graduation with honors, finds his carefully ordered future suddenly derailed when a stranger sweeps into his life—literally. A charismatic homeless man named Simon discovers Monty’s only copy of the paper and refuses to return it until he’s invited into the students’ world. What begins as an academic crisis quickly becomes a collision of two very different educations: one steeped in formal accolades, the other in hard-won street wisdom.
As Simon gradually integrates into the student household, his blunt humor and unconventional perspective unsettle their routines and challenge assumptions. Through late-night conversations, improbable adventures, and small acts of generosity, the students are forced to confront their own fears, prejudices, and priorities. Monty must decide what matters more: a distinction on a transcript or the deeper connections and responsibilities that define a life well lived.
With both warmth and bite, the story explores themes of honor, humility, and the unexpected teachers we encounter. It balances moments of light-hearted camaraderie with heartfelt reckonings, showing how a single disruption can reveal truths that textbooks never teach. In the end, the film suggests that real achievement isn’t just measured by external recognition but by the compassion and integrity we choose to show others.
