Snow Day

A surprise blizzard shuts down a small upstate town and turns an ordinary morning into a chaotic, joy-filled snow day. Elementary schooler Natalie Brandston leads a band of determined kids who hatch a wild plan to keep schools closed by stopping a mechanical plow driver—setting off a series of inventive pranks and slapstick adventures across snowy streets and backyard forts.

Meanwhile Natalie's older brother Hal spends the day trying to impress Claire Bonner, the most popular girl at his high school, while their father Tom, a local TV meteorologist, battles a rival on-air for control of the day's weather coverage. The film mixes heartfelt family moments with energetic comedy, celebrating childhood mischief, summer-like freedom in winter, and the warm chaos that brings a community together.
