McHale's Navy
Retired Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale has traded wartime heroics for a laid-back Caribbean life aboard the battered PT-73, where he hawks homebrew, ice cream, and risqué swimsuit calendars to make ends meet. His easygoing routine is upended when Major Vladikov, a bumbling but dangerous villain, seizes the island of San Moreno and begins constructing a nuclear launch silo. When McHale’s old adversary-turned-foe threatens the peace of the island, the former commander rallies his ragtag crew for one last mission.
What follows is a chaotic, comic war of wits as McHale's seasoned team deploys clever tricks, slapstick sabotage, and naval know-how to foil Vladikov’s grand plan. Complicating matters is Captain Wallace B. Binghampton, whose pompous interference and questionable past—including an incident with a sunken cruise liner—create hurdles almost as big as the villain himself. The film blends zany antics with earnest camaraderie, sending this lovable band of misfits into misadventures that are as uproarious as they are surprisingly heroic.
