Charles Cahill Wilson, born on July 29, 1894, in the bustling city of New York, was a distinguished American screen and stage actor who left an indelible mark on the Golden Age of Hollywood. One of Wilson's most memorable performances came in Frank Capra's classic comedy "It Happened One Night," where he portrayed Clark Gable's exasperated newspaper boss.
