Growing up in York, Pennsylvania, alongside his younger brother Chris, Keyes displayed a natural inclination towards creativity and performance. At just seven years old, he took the initiative to write, produce, direct, and act in a play inspired by The Tailor of Gloucester, showcasing his multifaceted talents from the outset.

His journey in the world of entertainment continued to flourish as he delved into the realm of stage productions. Keyes made his debut at the age of eleven, marking the beginning of a successful theatrical career. With roles ranging from the iconic Romeo in Romeo and Juliet to the whimsical Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Keyes showcased his versatility and dedication to his craft.
