Ricardo Palacios, born Ricardo López-Nuño Díez in Reinosa, Cantabria, was a multifaceted Spanish artist known for his contributions as an actor, film director, and screenwriter. Graduating from the Official Film School in Madrid, Palacios honed his skills both in front of and behind the camera, showcasing his versatility in the world of entertainment.

Making his mark in the industry, Palacios burst onto the scene with his debut in the 1961 TV series "Poly," captivating audiences with his on-screen presence. Throughout his career, he appeared in approximately 150 films and television series, with a notable focus on the iconic Spaghetti Western genre. Palacios's talent and dedication shone through in his collaborations with acclaimed director Jesús Franco, establishing himself as a respected figure in the cinematic landscape.

In 1987, Palacios ventured into directing with the comedy film "¡Biba la Banda!," a testament to his creative vision and storytelling prowess. Collaborating with renowned actor Alfredo Landa, he brought a unique perspective to the silver screen, leaving a lasting impact on viewers.
