Farhan Akhtar, born in Mumbai to renowned screenwriters Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, was destined to leave a mark in the Indian film industry. Growing up surrounded by the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, he developed a deep passion for storytelling and filmmaking from a young age.
Stepping into the world of Bollywood, Farhan began his journey as an assistant director, learning the ropes of the industry through projects like Lamhe (1991) and Himalay Putra (1997).
