Patti LaBelle, born Patricia Louise Holte on May 24, 1944, is an iconic American R&B singer and actress who has rightfully earned the title of the "Godmother of Soul." With a career spanning an impressive seven decades, LaBelle has captivated audiences worldwide, selling over 50 million records.
