Carlos Ponce, a multi-talented individual hailing from Santurce, Puerto Rico, has made a name for himself as an actor, singer, composer, and television personality. Born to Cuban immigrant parents, Carlos Ponce, Sr. and Esther Freyre, he inherited a passion for the arts from a young age. Growing up in Humacao, Ponce's early years were marked by his involvement in school plays and his knack for entertaining his family with his singing talents.

Nicknamed "Carlitos" in Puerto Rico, Ponce's journey to stardom began at the tender age of six when he started appearing in television commercials. His charisma and talent were evident even in his formative years, leading him to be recognized as the best student actor in the southern region of the United States during his high school days in Humacao. This early success laid the foundation for his future in the entertainment industry.

In 1986, the Ponce family relocated to Miami, Florida, where Carlos Ponce continued to hone his acting skills by participating in school productions. His dedication and passion for the craft caught the attention of many, culminating in his participation in the Southeastern Theatre Conference in 1990.
