Over the years, he climbed the ranks and held various key positions within the company, ultimately serving as President, Distribution & Marketing, and COO of Constantin Film AG until 2008.

During his tenure at Constantin Film, Friedl played a pivotal role in the distribution of some of the most successful German films, including the iconic works of Michael Bully Herbig such as "Der Schuh des Manitu" and "(T)Raumschiff Surprise." His influence extended beyond German cinema, as he spearheaded the international distribution of acclaimed productions like the Resident Evil franchise, "House of the Spirits," and "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer."

In 2008, Friedl embarked on a new chapter in his career by joining UFA Cinema as a producer and CEO, where he continued to make significant contributions to the film industry. His producer credits at UFA Cinema include a diverse range of projects, from movie adaptations of bestselling children's and young-adult novels to compelling thrillers and romantic comedies that captivated audiences worldwide.

Endowed with a keen eye for compelling storytelling and a passion for bringing diverse narratives to the screen, Friedl co-founded The Amazing Film Company (TAF) with esteemed producer Stefan Arndt in 2012.
