Steven Geray, originally named Istvan Gyergyay, was a prolific film actor known for his appearances in over 100 films and numerous television programs. His talent graced classic films such as "Spellbound," "Gilda," "All About Eve," and "To Catch a Thief," showcasing his versatility and skill as an actor.

Hailing from Ungvár, Austria-Hungary (now Uzhgorod, Ukraine), Geray's journey to stardom began with his education at the University of Budapest. He honed his craft at the Hungarian National Theater before making his mark on the London stage in 1934 under the name Steven Geray, captivating audiences with his performances in productions like "Happy Week-End!"

Transitioning to English-speaking films in 1935, Geray eventually made his way to Hollywood in 1941, where he solidified his reputation as a talented character actor.
