Lucas Macfadden, better known by his stage name Cut Chemist, is a pioneering figure in the world of turntablism and music production. Hailing from Hollywood, California, Cut Chemist's musical journey began at a remarkably young age, with him delving into the art of DJing at just 11 years old. His early collaborations with friends, including Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, laid the foundation for his future success in the industry.

By the time he reached 21, Cut Chemist had already made significant waves in the music scene as a founding member of both Jurassic 5 and the Grammy-winning group Ozomatli. These experiences not only shaped his eclectic musical palette but also solidified his reputation as a versatile and innovative artist.
