Sal Viscuso, a man whose passion for acting was ignited by witnessing Ivan Dixon's captivating performance in CBS Playhouse: The Final War of Olly Winter in 1967. This life-changing experience prompted him to join the drama department at the University of California at Davis, setting him on a path towards a successful acting career. After obtaining his BA, Sal further honed his craft under the guidance of the legendary Olympia Dukakis at NYU School of the Arts, where he earned his MFA.

His big break came with his film debut in the acclaimed movie The Taking of Pelham One Two Three in 1974.
