Biography

Christopher Lawford ( March 29, 1955, in Santa Monica, California; † September 4, 2018, in Vancouver, Canada) was an American actor, author, and activist. He was the son of Peter Lawford and Patricia Kennedy Lawford, making him a member of the Kennedy family.

He studied at Tufts University and earned a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School. Later, he completed training in clinical psychology at Harvard University.

Lawford struggled with drug addiction for many years before turning to acting. He appeared in films such as The Doors (1991), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), and Slipstream (2007).

On television, he starred in series like Frasier, The O.C., and General Hospital. In addition to acting, he was an author and wrote books about addiction and recovery.

He collaborated with organizations like the WHO and the United Nations to raise awareness about drug addiction. Lawford was married three times and had three children.
