Biography

Nǃxau ǂToma, known simply as Nǃxau, was a Namibian bush farmer and actor who left a lasting impact on the world of cinema through his iconic portrayal of the Kalahari Bushman Xixo in the 1980 film "The Gods Must Be Crazy" and its sequels. Born on December 16, 1944, Nǃxau's talent and natural charisma shone through on the big screen, earning him the title of "Namibia's most famous actor."

Throughout his career, Nǃxau captivated audiences with his authentic portrayal of a Bushman navigating the complexities of the modern world in a humorous and endearing way.
