Ruth Sheen, a distinguished English actress, was born in 1952 in London. She kickstarted her acting journey by honing her craft at the renowned East 15 Acting School. Since her debut in 1988, she has been a familiar face on British television screens and in the British film industry.

She notably portrayed Nanny Simmons in Berkeley Square (1998) and Nurse Ethel Carr in the series Bramwell (1995–1998).
