Adepero Oduye, a talented actress hailing from Brooklyn, New York City, has roots tracing back to Nigeria. Her journey into the world of acting began after graduating from Cornell University, where she honed her craft under the guidance of renowned mentors such as Wynn Handman, Austin Pendleton, and Susan Batson. With a name pronounced as "Add-eh-pair-o Oh-due-yay," Adepero has made a name for herself in both theatre and film.

In the realm of theatre, Adepero Oduye has graced the stage with her presence in various productions, including Danai Gurira's play Eclipsed at the prestigious Yale Repertory Theatre, as well as The Bluest Eye at the Hartford Stage and Long Wharf Theatres.
