Henry Darrow, born in New York to Puerto Rican parents, is a versatile character actor who has left a lasting impact on both stage and screen. Best known for his role as the charming Manolito "Mano" Montoya in the popular 1960s television series, The High Chaparral, Darrow's portrayal of the character captured the hearts of audiences worldwide.
Before his breakthrough role in The High Chaparral, Darrow had already built an impressive resume with appearances in a dozen films and over seventy-five television series. His talent and dedication to his craft caught the attention of renowned television producer David Dortort, who saw in him the perfect fit for the character of Manolito Montoya.
