Amy Schumer, a native New Yorker, was born and raised in Manhattan before moving to Long Island. Growing up, she displayed her comedic talents early on, earning the titles of "Class Clown" and "Teacher's Worst Nightmare" during her high school years at South Side High School. Schumer's journey into the entertainment industry began after she graduated in 1999 and pursued a degree in theater at Towson University, where she honed her acting skills.
