Lucille Ball, born Lucille Désirée Ball on August 6, 1911, was a multi-talented American entertainer who left an indelible mark on the worlds of film, television, and comedy. Known for her iconic roles in sitcoms like I Love Lucy, The Lucy–Desi Comedy Hour, The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy, and Life With Lucy, Ball's career spanned decades and solidified her as one of Hollywood's most beloved stars.

Beginning her career in the 1930s, Ball's journey to stardom was paved with hard work and determination. From her early days as a model to her transition into acting on Broadway, she honed her craft and eventually found success in Hollywood. Despite starting with small movie roles, Ball's talent and charisma quickly propelled her to leading lady status, earning her the title of the "Queen of the Bs" for her work in B-films.
