His journey into the world of entertainment began at the young age of 6 when he took his first tap dance class. This initial experience sparked a deep-seated passion for various dance styles that would later become a defining aspect of his career.

Growing up, Ryan's interests extended beyond dance, showcasing his versatility and athleticism. Alongside his dedication to dance, he actively participated in sports such as volleyball, ball hockey, and competitive gymnastics, where his agility and grace shone through. Moreover, his musical talents were evident as he excelled in playing the piano, further highlighting his multifaceted abilities.

Ryan's commitment to honing his craft led him to train extensively in street styles at Edmonton's renowned Kore Dance Studio under the guidance of Alexander Chung. His hard work and dedication paid off when his team emerged victorious at the Canadian Hip Hop Championship and secured a top-ten placement at the prestigious Hip Hop International competition, solidifying his status as a standout performer in the dance community.

During his senior year, Ryan expanded his training horizons by attending Monsters Dance Convention and immersing himself in the vibrant dance scene of Los Angeles. His efforts were duly recognized when he was bestowed with Kore's Outstanding Male Dancer Award and the esteemed Artists Emerge Scholarship, underscoring his exceptional talent and commitment to his art.
