Biography

Nathan Forrest Winters, born on June 22, 1975, in Martinez, California, had a childhood marked by artistic influences from his flower child mother and the turbulent presence of his alcoholic father. Despite these challenges, Winters displayed a quiet yet analytical nature with a keen eye for detail and a passion for performing that would shape his future in the entertainment industry.

At the age of nine, Winters had a fateful encounter with Victor Salva, a young filmmaker who would become a close friend and collaborator. Against protests from Salva, Nathan auditioned for and won the lead role in Salva's project 'Something in the Basement,' showcasing his natural talent at a young age. This early success paved the way for his involvement in the cult classic 'ClownHouse,' where he portrayed the character Casey Collins under the mentorship of Francis Ford Coppola.

Working under Coppola's guidance, Winters faced the challenges of a demanding shooting schedule for 'ClownHouse,' filmed using the same cameras as 'American Graffiti.' Despite technical difficulties that required dialogue dubbing in post-production, Winters' performance shone through, earning him recognition in the industry.

However, tragedy struck during post-production when Winters bravely confronted the truth about Salva's criminal actions. The subsequent legal proceedings and Salva's conviction for child molestation deeply impacted Winters, leading him to become a vocal advocate for sexual abuse prevention and awareness.

Determined to forge his path outside the shadows of his past experiences, Winters turned to music, finding solace and creative expression as the frontman of his project 7he Seven Stone. His music became a platform for sharing his survivor story and advocating for healing from the trauma of childhood abuse.

In a poignant display of resilience and courage, Winters recently completed his first film score for the documentary '7he 6oy,' directed by Connar Frazier. Set for release on October 31st, 2019, the documentary promises to shed light on the darkness of childhood abuse and Winters' journey towards healing and empowerment, showcasing his unwavering determination to overcome adversity and inspire others through his artistry.
