Tracy Marrow, professionally known as Ice-T, is a multi-talented American musician and actor, born on February 16, 1958, in Newark, New Jersey. He later moved to Crenshaw, Los Angeles, California during his formative years, where he would eventually carve out a remarkable career in the entertainment industry.

After completing high school, Ice-T made a significant detour by serving in the United States Army for four years, showcasing his dedication and discipline early on in life.
