Izïa Higelin, known by her stage name Izia, is a multi-talented French artist born on September 24, 1990, in Paris. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the arts, with her father being the renowned French singer Jacques Higelin, Izïa was exposed to music and creativity from a young age. Her early influences included jazz and British pop music, thanks to her father's guidance.

At the age of 13, Izïa's musical tastes shifted towards rock, drawing inspiration from bands like Nirvana and Led Zeppelin. This newfound passion led her to write her first song, "Hey Bitch," a precursor to her future in the rock music scene. Her journey into music took a significant turn when she met Caravan Palace bassist Antoine Toustou, marking the beginning of her professional music career.

Leaving formal education behind at just 15, Izïa dedicated herself entirely to pursuing her musical aspirations.
