Smuggling Hendrix

Washed-up musician Yiannis is ready to leave Cyprus behind, but his plans unravel when his beloved dog, Hendrix, slips across the island’s dividing wall to the Turkish side. Forced to stay, he finds himself squeezed between the local mob and an unhelpful border patrol as he scrambles through checkpoints, back alleys, and awkward negotiations to retrieve his loyal companion.

Blending dark comedy with tender domestic drama, the film follows Yiannis as unlikely alliances form and the absurdities of a divided island are revealed through small, human moments.
