The Visitors: Bastille Day

Stuck in the corridors of time, Godefroy de Montmirail and his faithful servant Jacquouille are hurled forward into the chaos of the French Revolution, where their medieval manners collide spectacularly with revolutionary zeal. Thrust into a Paris of pamphleteers, barricades, and suspicious citizens, the mismatched duo bumbles through a series of misadventures—mistaken identities, narrow escapes from prison, and frantic attempts to reverse the time warp—while their old-world chivalry clashes with the new political order.

Equal parts slapstick and social satire, the film mines humor from the culture shock between epochs while offering warm-hearted moments of camaraderie and unexpected alliances.
