Ray Stevenson, born on May 25, 1964, was a versatile actor known for his work in film, television, and stage productions. Growing up in Lemington, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, he discovered his passion for acting at a young age. Despite initially pursuing a career in art and working as an interior designer in London, Stevenson eventually followed his childhood dream and attended the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he honed his craft and graduated at the age of 29.

In the early 1990s, Stevenson began his acting career with appearances in TV films and guest roles on various series. However, it was his role in "King Arthur" (2004) that propelled him to international fame, portraying the loyal knight Dagonet alongside a star-studded cast.
