Michael James McDonald, born on December 31, 1964, is a versatile American entertainer with a talent that knows no bounds. While many recognize him for his standout performances on the sketch comedy show MADtv, his contributions to the entertainment industry go far beyond that.

Before he graced our screens with his comedic genius, McDonald's journey began in an unexpected place. After graduating from USC with a degree in Business, he found himself working as a loan officer at a bank in Los Angeles. However, a fateful trip to L.A.'s renowned Groundling Theater changed the course of his life forever. Enrolling in the theater's Improv Program, he soon became a member of the troupe from 1992 to 1997.

Transitioning from the world of banking to the bright lights of Hollywood, McDonald's career took off with opportunities at Concorde Pictures, where he honed his craft in low-budget films. Starting as an extra, he worked his way up to writing, directing, and landing significant roles in various movies of the early 1990s.
