Stephen Chow Sing-Chi, born in Hong Kong on June 22, 1962, is a multifaceted talent known for his work as a filmmaker, actor, and producer. Raised by his mother after his parents' divorce when he was young, Chow's interest in martial arts was sparked at the age of nine when he watched Bruce Lee's film "The Big Boss." This early inspiration eventually led him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Starting his career as an extra for Rediffusion Television, Chow's big break came when he joined TVB in 1981. Hosting the children's program "430 Space Shuttle" on TVB Jade, he quickly garnered attention for his charismatic presence.

In 1988, Chow's film "Final Justice" earned him the prestigious Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor, setting the stage for his rise to stardom. The following decade saw him appearing in numerous films, with "Fight Back to School" becoming a record-breaking success in Hong Kong.
